Nutrition Coaching for Sports Nutrition
Whether you’re an elite athlete or just exercise now and again, eating well can be the difference between a high energy, productive workout or a sluggish, tiring one. Sports nutrition may differ from general nutrition because the energy demands are increased - you may need more calories or a different distribution of macronutrients (carbs, fat, protein).

Charlie B.
“After being a yo-yo dieter all my life, I reached out to Tammy for help changing my relationship with food. The sessions were well structured, she always followed up with a summary of our discussion and set action points that were realistic yet also challenging. I now feel much more at peace with my body and self image. Thank you!”
FAQs
What does working with you look like?
To start with, we will kick off with an initial consultation that lasts 60-75 minutes. During this session I will take a deep dive into your medical and nutrition background including dietary preferences, eating behaviors and health goals. Before the end of the session, we will work together to set realistic, measurable goals to work on before we meet again.
During follow -up sessions we’ll discuss how you’re doing with your goals, work on areas of concern and develop actionable steps to keep you on track.
How regularly do you schedule follow up visits?
This is completely up to you. I usually speak to my clients every 2-3 weeks, but it all depends on your needs and preferences.
How long do you typically work with patients?
The duration of care is largely determined by your needs and preferences. To see sustainable weight loss results I encourage patients to see me on an ongoing basis for at least 3-6 months.
Do you take insurance?
Some. I accept Cigna, Oscar, Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield. Copays apply. HSA is accepted. I can verify benefits before starting to work together
Can I cancel or reschedule my appointments?
I try to remain flexible to suit my patient needs. If you need to cancel or reschedule, 48 hours notice is required or a $50 cancellation fee will apply.
The pandemic has changed the way we live in so many ways, including how we eat and drink. Gone are the days of trying out the latest restaurants and bars. Now more than ever, cooking at home has become the norm.
